Camp Planner (campplanner.app) is a tool for planning camp and site layouts. This page explains what we collect, why, and who helps us run the service. Short version: we collect as little as possible, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect

Why we collect it

To sign you in, save and sync your camps, render weather/sun/power estimates, enforce plan limits fairly, and improve the product. That's it.

Where it's stored

Your account and camp data are stored in Supabase, our database and authentication provider.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of providers to run Camp Planner:

We don't sell your data

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share information with the providers above only to the extent needed to operate the service.

Sign-in and payment are handled by third parties

Sign-in is handled by Google and payment is handled by Stripe. Those companies process that data under their own privacy policies, which apply in addition to this note.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in (session) and to store your current camp locally so it loads fast and works offline. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Your data, your call (access & deletion)

You can delete individual camps and share links from within the app, and you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data yourself using the Delete account option in the account menu. You can also request access to, or deletion of, the personal data we hold about you — including under GDPR and CCPA-style rights where they apply. To request a copy of your data (or deletion, if you'd rather we do it), email support@campplanner.app and we'll handle it within a reasonable time.

Changes to this note

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
